A short trip to the UK

After a brief trip to the UK I am now back in Hungary and have moved into my flat. It is great and not to far from the centre so visitors are welcome. I have a sofa bed although a bedding shortage. Now that I am more settled I will start painting again. Talking of painting, I have started a new Blog just for paintings so this one doesn’t get to big. If you are interested, check out www.originaloils.blogspot.com . I have inserted to new photos, one is my nephew contemplating his next drink and the other my very good friends enjoying a pimms on a hot day. Not a scratch on my pimms.

I have started writing now and along with buying groceries, my days are filling up nicely. I’m really starting to enjoy this lifestyle and am starting to plan more local trips. Getting a taste for the Turkish baths here and of course exploring the nightlife. Although, I am rationing beer so I’m not always drunk or recovering. If fact I’ve been drinking less than in DC. Goes to show, when it’s there 24 hours, it doesn’t become top of the list of ‘things to do’. I think that UK judge can calm down a bit over the licensing laws. It may take a few years for this generation to move through their ‘get hugely twated’ stage but in the long run I think it will work. We shouldn’t need a 70 year old war relic to penalize the masses over the mistakes of a few. Anyway, moving on.

Enjoying some Pims on a sunny day in Greenwich.
