No posts for a while. I’ve been in the UK again taking care of stuff and then Italy for 5 days. It was very relaxing especially after a very heavy 4 days of drinking when some mates from England came over. I've really settled into a routine now and am enjoying myself. I certainly feel busy. That’s because business in the UK is giving me more to do than I expected, I’m spending longer doing life stuff like getting up in the morning, shopping, cooking and getting around. We’ve had a great 2 weeks of unbroken sunshine so afternoon coffee’s have tended to take a little longer than normal. Still, painting and writing, although slowly. I’ve finished 2 paintings posted on my other blog, www.originaloils.blogspot.com . They are both in an exhibition at the moment, which is great.
Steff, a college from the US came over last weekend so I got to do some touristy things which were great. A highlight for me was a wine tasting event at the castle where the pictures below were taken. We went to the castle in the afternoon, saw the sites of Pest, met Chaz and Tunde, had some great food and wine in a beautiful setting with friends, got tipsy, went back to a local outdoor bar, talked a lot and got drunk getting home at 5am. That was an evening I was sure I would be tucked up in bed by 10pm.
Autumn arrived today. I suppose it was going to happen so I dug out a jumper for the first time. Still, it will be easer to paint outdoors now so I don’t boil over. The sun has been really hot even up to this week.
Well, that will do for now. I’m not to sure what is of interest to a wide audience but I’ll try and add more regular entries in the future.
